Stopped in at lunch time with my husband. Service was great, food came out fast, and they have the best rice. My tacos were a little over fried, but my husband really likes his pastor street tacos. I would give it another try.

The staff at Tequila in South County are super friendly and polite. The food? Absolutely amazing and so fresh. I had the nachos supreme with a side of their incredible guacamole and pico de gallo—and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The churros were the perfect balance of buttery, sugary, cinnamon goodness. I devoured everything and can’t wait to go back and try more of their dishes!

Tequilas Mexican Restaurant on Baumgartner: Come for the Monster Burrito, Stay Because You Can’t Move Let’s talk about my favorite form of self-care: the Monster Burrito from Tequilas. This thing is not a meal — it’s a challenge, a spiritual journey, and maybe a cry for help. But I love it. Deeply. Wrapped in a tortilla that could double as a sleeping bag, this behemoth is packed with meat, rice, beans, veggies, and dreams. But the real star? That queso. Ohhh that queso. It’s not just cheese — it’s a smooth, melty masterpiece that makes me question why every other restaurant is holding out on me. Tequilas is the only place bold enough to drown a burrito in cheese glory like this. God bless them. And the price? Beautiful. I don’t know how they do it. You get enough food to feed a small village for the price of a fancy coffee. I’d like to personally shake the hand of whoever priced this menu. Now let’s talk about the decor. They recently remodeled, and honey — it shows. It’s got that “clean, colorful, fiesta-but-make-it-classy” vibe that makes you want to take selfies between bites of salsa. The staff? Absolute gems. Super friendly, lightning fast, and somehow unfazed by the sheer volume of food I ordered like I was training for a burrito marathon. Bottom line: If you’re looking for flavor, fun, and a burrito the size of your forearm — Tequilas is the place. Just make peace with the fact that you’re going to need a nap afterward.

Margaritas were good and they have a great tequila selection. Food was good. Nereida was our server and she was fantastic. Friendly, spot on with her timing. Only negative is it looks like they haven't finished their build out in some areas of the restaurant.

The staff here was friendly and quick, the good was amazing and authentic. I had the Lunch Chimi with shredded chicken. Everything tasted amazing and well seasoned. Definitely went back a second day and had the fajitas. Was a very well made dish and all seasoned well. I highly recommended this location

First off I’d like to say I’m from California so I take my Mexican food seriously. This place hands down is the best Mexican food around. Reminds me of tacos I used to get at any corner in SoCal. The rice reminds me of when my mother’s rice. It was so delicious . I tried the tacos pastor, I’m not used to having pineapple in mine. But that was a plus! I’m definitely coming back here again for more food!

My friend’s family owned a taco truck that was down the road from my house .. they had the most delicious tacos and burritos! Once I moved to Saint Louis, I couldn’t find anything remotely authentic/ special. . Until I went to this restaurant. It feels like I’m at my friend’s taco truck lol and it always makes me think about my friends and family. The staff are sweet as can be !! They are also reasonably priced!! Thank you guys for working so hard to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. It does NOT go unnoticed.
